Dear reader,
My name is Marek Kaput and I am a software engineer.
I am deeply passionate about creating products, bridging experiences across vastly different domains, and building teams.
I am currently focused on distributed systems; in the past, I have worked on developer tools, compilers, and multimedia systems. I have over a decade of experience and am currently a staff software engineer at Software Mansion. As a technology polyglot, I appreciate the power of Rust, Elixir, and agentic coding.
Previously, I was influential in the Starknet community and helped shape much of the Cairo developer tools story through contributions to the Cairo compiler and as the creator of Scarb and Cairo Language Server.
I also authored the Software Mansion Agentic Engineering Guide, a practical guide to adopting AI agents in professional software teams.
